Because the imported bearing is a high-precision product, improper assembly of the water pump shaft and coupling can easily cause damage to the water pump shaft and the imported bearing channel and cause damage to the INA imported bearing. Imported bearings should have a special mold when assembling. They cannot be knocked at will. When pressing into the shaft, only the small circle can be forced? When the large circle is pressed, only the large circle can be forced. When assembling, it is required to use air pressure or hydraulic pressure. When pressing, the upper and lower touch should be outside the horizontal state. If there is an inclination, the imported bearing channel will be damaged due to the force. The imported bearing will cause noise.
For general and conventional automobile water pump shaft bearings, the material selected is steel, including steel ball rollers, outer rings, shafts and other materials are all high-carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15). The excellent* bearing steel is vacuum deoxidized, electromagnetic stirring, and the oxide content is relatively small. Therefore, it can withstand large contact compressive stress while also withstanding large high variable tensile stress. After the bearing steel is heat-treated, the raceway hardness of the shaft is generally 58-62HRC. The hardness of the steel ball and roller is 61-65HRC, and the hardness of the ring raceway is 60-64HRC.
When the imported bearing is installed on the rotor for dynamic balancing, it is easy to enter the iron filings generated during the dynamic balancing into the imported bearing? Therefore, the dynamic balance is performed before the imported bearing is installed. For the convenience of assembly, some manufacturers apply some oil or grease to the imported bearing chamber for lubrication effect during assembly. However, it is often difficult for the operator to control the amount. If more oil or grease accumulates in the imported bearing chamber? In the water pump shaft When the imported bearing rotates, it is easy to enter the inside of the INA imported bearing along the shaft. The imported bearing room is best not to be coated with oil or grease. If it must be coated, it must be controlled not to accumulate in the imported bearing room.
The engine drives the water pump bearing and impeller to rotate through the pulley. The coolant in the water pump is driven by the impeller to rotate together. Under the action of centrifugal force, it is thrown by the car antifreeze circulating water pump to the edge of the water pump housing, and at the same time, a certain pressure is generated, and then from the outlet. Or the water pipe flows out. The pressure at the center of the impeller is reduced due to the cooling liquid being thrown out. The cooling liquid in the water tank is sucked into the impeller through the water pipe under the action of the pressure difference between the inlet of the water pump and the center of the impeller to realize the reciprocating circulation of the cooling liquid.
The bearings supporting the water pump shaft are lubricated with grease. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the coolant from leaking into the grease to cause the grease to emulsify, and at the same time to prevent the leakage of the grease. The sealing measures of the water pump to prevent leakage include water seals and gaskets. The water seal dynamic seal ring and the shaft are installed between the impeller and the bearing through interference fit, and the water seal static seal seat is tightly press-fitted on the housing of the water pump to achieve the purpose of sealing the coolant.
The water pump housing is connected to the engine through a gasket and supports moving parts such as bearings. There is also a drain hole on the water pump housing, which is located between the water seal and the bearing. Once the coolant leaks through the water seal, it can be drained from the drain hole to prevent the coolant from entering the bearing cavity to damage the bearing lubrication and cause the parts to rust. If the coolant still leaks after the engine is stopped, it indicates that the water seal has been damaged.
