In the consumption of enterprises, it is very common for rolling bearings to show faults, and there are two common manifestations:
1. Bearing noise
Rolling bearings are allowed to have a slight running noise during work. If the noise is too loud or there is abnormal noise or impact, it indicates that the bearing is faulty. The reasons for the noise produced by rolling bearings are more complicated. One is the wear of the inner and outer rings of the bearing. Due to this wear, the matching relationship between the bearing and the housing and the bearing and the shaft is destroyed, causing the axis to deviate from the correct position, and abnormal noise occurs when the shaft is moving at high speed. When the bearing is tired, the metal on its surface will peel off, which will also increase the radial clearance of the bearing and produce abnormal noise. In addition, the lack of bearing smoothness, the formation of dry friction, and the crushing of the bearing will all produce abnormal noise. After the bearing is worn and loosened, the holding frame is loose and damaged, and abnormal noise will also be produced.
2. Bearing temperature is too high
When the mechanism is in operation, the bearing part of the device is allowed to have a certain temperature, and the general request temperature rise is not higher than 55°C. The main reasons for the excessively high bearing temperature are: the quality of the smooth oil does not meet the requirements or changes, the smooth oil is too sticky; the smoothness is poor or the smooth oil is too much; the bearing assembly is too tight; the bearing assembly is too loose so that the bearing race is on the shaft Or rotate inside the shell; the load is too large; the bearing holder or rolling element is broken, etc.
