The selection of specifications, dimensions and accuracy according to the utilization location, utilization conditions and environmental conditions, and matching of suitable bearings are the prerequisites for ensuring the life and feasibility of the bearings.
1. Use parts: Tapered roller bearings are actually used to withstand the combined radial and axial loads based on radial loads. Usually two sets of bearings are paired for use. The tension should be applied to the front and rear wheel hubs, active bevel gears, and differential speeds of automobiles. Transmission parts such as gearboxes and reducers.
2. Allowable speed: In an environment with precise placement and good lubrication, it is allowed to be 0.3-0.5 times the limit speed of the bearing. In the normal environment, 0.2 times the limit speed is the best.
3. Allowable tilt angle: The tapered roller bearing usually does not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing hole. If it is tilted, the maximum is not higher than 2′.
4. Allowable temperature: Under normal load, the lubricant has high temperature resistance, and the lubrication is sufficient, the normal bearing is allowed to work at an ambient temperature of -30℃-150℃.

The third water pump shaft is bent or out of concentricity, which will cause the water pump to vibrate and then cause heating or wear of the bearing.
The fit clearance of the fourth bearing does not meet the requirements. If the fit between the inner ring of the bearing and the water pump shaft, the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing body is too loose or too tight, it can cause the bearing to heat up. (Too tight fit will make the bearing inflexible; too loose fit will make the inner ring of the bearing rotate or the entire bearing will rotate in the bearing body).
Fifth, because the axial thrust of the water pump bearing increases (for example, when the balance plate and the balance ring in the water pump are seriously damaged), the axial load on the bearing is increased, which causes the bearing to heat up and damage it.
Sixth, the amount of lubricating oil (grease) in the sixth bearing is insufficient or excessive, the quality is poor, and there are debris, iron filings and other debris; the sliding bearing sometimes causes the bearing to heat up because the oil ring does not rotate and does not bring the oil.
