Installation and disassembly principle of automobile water pump shaft bearing

According to the application part, application conditions and environmental conditions, the standard size and accuracy are selected, and the appropriate IKO bearing is the prerequisite to ensure the life and reliability of the bearing. The three allowed are:

1. Allowable speed: Under the environment of correct installation and excellent lubrication, it is allowed to be 0.3-0.5 times the limit speed of the bearing. Normally, 0.2 times the limit speed is appropriate.

2. Allowable tilt angle: The shaft bearing of the automobile water pump usually does not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing hole. If it is tilted, the maximum should not exceed 2'.

3. Allowable temperature: Under normal load, the lubricant has high temperature resistance, and the lubrication is sufficient, usually IKO bearings are allowed to operate at an ambient temperature of -30℃-150℃.

The cooperation between the bearing and the shaft is usually a transitional cooperation, and the cooperation between the seat ring and the bearing housing hole is usually a clearance cooperation. The middle shaft ring of a two-way bearing should be fixed on the shaft to avoid shaft tumbling. If the installation is reversed, not only the bearing is not working properly, but also the cooperating surfaces will be severely worn. When the box shell hole is deep, it can also be repaired with an extended dial indicator. The installation method of IKO bearings is usually the case where the shaft rotates, so the cooperation between the inner ring and the shaft is a win-win cooperation, and the cooperation between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing chamber is a gap cooperation.

In addition, there should be a gap of 0.2-0.5mm between the housing ring of the bearing and the housing hole to compensate for the faults caused by inaccurate parts processing and installation. When the center of the bearing ring is shifted during work, this gap can be used. Ensure its active adjustment, avoid collision and make it work normally. When the bearing is installed accurately, its seat ring can actively learn the movement of the pneumatic projectile to ensure that the moving projectile is located on the upper and lower raceways. When installing IKO bearings, the straightness of the shaft ring and shaft centerline should be maintained. Otherwise, it will cause severe damage to the water pump shaft bearing. The method is to fix the dial indicator on the end face of the case, make the contact of the indicator rest on the raceway of the bearing shaft ring while looking at the pointer of the dial indicator. If the indicator oscillates, it means that the shaft ring and the center line of the shaft are not straight.
