Precautions for installation and disassembly of water pump bearings

The water pump bearing should be installed under clean and dry environmental conditions. The processing quality of the mating surface of the shaft and the housing, the end surface of the shoulder, the groove and the connecting surface should be carefully checked before installation. When installing the water pump bearing, it should match the connection surface, and at the same time carefully clean and remove the burrs. The surface of the unprocessed casting must be cleaned with sand.

   When the water pump bearing is disassembled and needs to be used again, appropriate disassembly tools should be used. The water pump bearing is matched with the ferrule during the disassembly process, and the pulling force is applied to the ferrule. The disassembly force cannot be transmitted through the rolling elements, otherwise it will be easy. Crush the rolling elements and raceways.
